Fix A Broken Nail With A Teabag

Breaking a polished nail can be crazy annoying to say the least.  If you find yourself in this kind of situation - don't panic! Luckily, there's a really quick (and really easy) solution. Just grab a tea bag, some nail tools and get ready to bring your pretty manicure back to life in just a few simple steps.

What you need:
  • Tea bag
  • Nail glue
  • Nail file
  • Tweezers
  • Scissors

1. Cut a piece of the tea bag large enough to cover the broken part of your nail.

2. Clean your nail with nail polish remover, and wash your hands.

3. Apply nail glue directly over the part of your nail that's broken.

4. Carefully place the piece of teabag flat against your nail with tweezers, over the glue. Wait for the glue to dry before doing anything else.

5. Using your nail file, file off the excess tea bag hanging off your nail.

6. Continue lightly filing the tea bag onto your nail, until it becomes smooth. Be careful not to file too hard, or the tea bag may rip.

7. This step is optional, but you can paint over the teabag with a base coat to secure it to your nail. Then, paint over with polish.
